Journeying to Cardiff by road
Cardiff is served by the M4 and is easily accessible from all parts of Britain. You may find this multimap useful.
From the south west, take the M5 and from the south of England, follow major A roads to the M4.
From Scotland, the north of England and the Midlands, travel via the M50 to the M4.
Travelling on the M4
Leave the motorway at Junction 29, follow the A48(M)/A48, signposted Cardiff East and South. 7 miles after you leave the M4 you'll see the University hospital over to your right, there'll be signposts for it on the left. Keep going straight on and you'll pass under a large interchange. After about half a mile you should see a huge Tesco store in front of you, to the left. You should also see the traffic lights; turn left here (get in the left hand lane) so that you go in between Wickes and Tescos. Go left at the mini-roundabout, then right before you pass McDonalds. Follow the road round into Talybont and find yourself a space in the car park (see this map).
